Our beloved Joshua is more than just a name—he’s a cherished son, brother, nephew, cousin, and grandson. He brings light into every room with his smile, strength, and positivity. Now, at 27 years old, he’s facing one of the toughest battles of his life. Joshua has been diagnosed with Stage 3B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, along with a rare and life-threatening complication called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). This combination has caused his health to decline rapidly. In addition to the cancer itself, Joshua is battling a range of serious complications that have affected his immune system, organs, and overall strength. These health issues have made his condition even more complex and painful, requiring constant, intensive medical care. Despite everything, Joshua remains strong in spirit. His resilience and courage have inspired everyone around him. Joshua remains brave and hopeful. By his side every single day is his mother, Lissette, who has not left him throughout this terrifying journey. She has had to stop working to be there for Joshua full-time, making sure he never faces a moment of this fight alone. As you can imagine, this has brought on significant financial strain.
