Support Joshua's Care for Little Amaria

Hello, my name is Joshua, and I’m reaching out to the community on behalf of my childhood best friend's daughter, Amaria.

Recently, her mother passed away from a tragic train accident abruptly at 38 years old. I myself have not worked in four months due to shattering my knee. But when I got the call from DCS to be her temporary guardian because I’m next of kin (the mother is my nephew's mom), I gladly said yes!

Being in my care since I have the downtime to be with her 100% of the time, she was a preemie at 25 weeks, born at 1 pound, and now she is 18 pounds and one year old, doing wonderfully. However, she is still currently on oxygen nightly and is tube-fed.

I’m currently struggling to make ends meet while taking care of her, so honestly, until we get an established daycare from DCS, I am kind of at a standstill to be able to go to work. If anybody is willing to help out in this time of need, especially during the holidays, anything would be greatly appreciated!
