Support Joshua Stevens' Family During Burn Recovery
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Army veteran, and beloved community member Joshua Stevens was in a freak accident on Friday, and his family is in need of your support.
As night fell, Josh noticed a glow in the distance on his property. It was a fire that was headed toward his neighbor's home. He immediately jumped into action trying to create a fire break. Unfortunately, the wind was strong and he was engulfed in flames almost immediately. His car was completely destroyed, and he was life-flighted to the hospital in Oklahoma City.
Josh is now hospitalized for an undetermined amount of time while he rehabilitates from 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 22% of his body. He has already undergone two surgeries, and his family needs our help during what will inevitably be a long recovery.
Josh is not only a devoted father and partner to his fiancé Heather, but also a local business owner of TFirearms in Altus, OK. His team at TFirearms is working hard to keep business moving, but in the meantime, Heather is traveling the 5 hour round trip to the hospital in OKC multiple times per week to both stay by Josh's side, and back to take care of their four children. While both are unable to work during this time, all donations will go directly toward paying their necessary bills during Josh's recovery.
Anything helps. Thank you for any support you can give.
