Joshua Rene was a true champion of community, serving as the executive pastor of Journey Church in Lake Worth, a devoted husband, and a loving father to four children. He was taken from us far too early in a tragic accident on November 25th. Introduced to me through Amber Tollefson, Josh was a fellow native of upstate New York and one of the most gifted local musicians in all of South Florida. Most importantly, he was a true role model in his faith and a gift of God to our community. Josh led from his heart and the impact he made on others including myself are a testament to his legacy. Josh's sudden passing has left his family facing unimaginable loss. As they grieve the loss of a husband, father, and exceptional man, they are also navigating the many challenges that come with such a tragedy.
