On Friday, August 22nd, 2025, our family suffered an unimaginable loss: Joshua and Ashley’s baby boy, Rowen, was born still at full term after hours of labor and an emergency cesarean section. They went to the hospital excited to finally meet their son, but instead left with broken hearts.

This tragedy has brought not only overwhelming grief but also unexpected financial hardship. Ashley was unable to work for much of her pregnancy due to medical complications and was under frequent monitoring. Now, in the aftermath of the loss and her emergency surgery, she is unable to return to work as she heals physically and emotionally.

On top of their grief, Joshua and Ashley are facing steep medical bills, the cost of moving to a larger apartment to prepare for their baby, and weeks of lost wages. We’re asking for support to ease this burden, allowing them to grieve and heal without the added weight of financial stress.
