Support Joshua Alvarez's Battle with Leukemia

I greet everyone who reads my story, may God bless you. My name is JORGE ALVAREZ ROJAS. This is happening to my son JOSHUA ALVAREZ in Colombia. On December 10, 2024, he came down with a FLU, malaise and fever. We took him to the hospital and he stayed there for 9 days. They tested him for Dengue fever three times and the test came out negative and then the malaria test came back negative. The defenses were lowered but in the end he came back to raise everything again and on December 19, 2024 he was discharged. On December 23, he went to his grandmother's to spend Christmas and returned on December 31, 2024 with his body full of bruises and bumps on his body and it hurt him a lot. he felt Discouraged, weak. until January 3, 2025, we took him back to the hospital. And on January 4, 2025, they took him to the Emergency room. Pediatric critical care. And on January 15, 2025, he was diagnosed with LEUCEMIA, where we felt devastated for our boy, who is only 15 years old, experiencing very tough battles, the quemo began, and he constantly fought against stomach bacteria. On February 16, my son had a relapse so serious that he nearly died. his blood pressure, defence and sugar level were very low. Only my God is the one who has sustained him. I worked driving for UBER. unfortunately I am unable to work since as a minor he cannot be left alone. I take care of him from 8 am to 8 pm and my wife takes care of him from 8 pm to 8 am when she is there I stay with my 5 year old daughter. And when I am in the hospital, she stays with my 5-year-old daughter since we have no one to take care of her. This process of LEUCEMIA is very hard. It is something that becomes aware of the seriousness of this disease. It is something very hard to see how my son suffers and endures those Quemo treatments that burn the veins and above all the desire to continue fighting I see it in other children but what I have taught my son is that the most powerful is called JESUS CHRIST. But it is the hardest test that any father and mother can live through. Because my son's platelets are so low, he can't even get out of bed and he only has to wear a diaper. But it is a very serious and hard situation. Saludo a todos los q vean mi historia q Dios los bendiga . Mi nombre es JORGE HERNAN ALVAREZ ROJAS. esto sucedió con mi hijo JOSHUA ALVAREZ. El 10 de diciembre 2024 el empezó con una gripa malestar y fiebre. Lo llevamos al hospital y ahi estuvo 9 días le hicieron exámenes de Dengue tres veces y la prueba salio negativa y después la de malaria y también negativa. Las defensas habían bajado pero al final volvió a subirle todo de nuevo y el dia 19 de Diciembre 2024 le dieron de alta. Para el dia 23 de Diciembre se fue a donde la abuela para pasar navidad y regreso el 31 de Diciembre del 2024 con el cuerpo lleno de moretones y con bolas en el cuerpo y le.dolia mucho . Desanimada débil y así duro asta el dia de 3 de enero del 2025 lo llevamos de nuevo al hospital. Y para el dia 4 de enero del 2025 lo subieron a la UCI . Cuidados críticos de pediatría. Y para el dia 15 de enero del 2025 le diagnosticaron LEUSEMIA ahí empezó nuestro dolor por nuestro hijo de solo 15 años de edad a tenido una batallas muy duras empezó la quimio asido pelea contante cintra bacterias estomacal. Q el dia 16 de febrero mi hijo tubo una recaída tan grave q casi se me muere. La presión en 24 mil. Defensas en 11. Mil azúcar en 24 mil . Solo mi Dios es el q me.lo a sostenido . Somos una familia q se conforma de mi esposa . Mi niña de 5 años mi hijo joshua alvarez de 15 años el cual es el q esta hospitalizado y yo quien le habla yo trabajaba en UBER. digo trabajaba ya q me toca compartir el horario de mi hijo ya q como menor de edad no se puede dejar solo. Yo lo cuido de 8 am a 8 pm y mi esposa lo cuida de 8 pm a 8 am cuando esta ella yo me quedo con mi hija de 5 años. Y cuando estoy yo en el hospital se queda ella con mi hija de 5 años ya q no tenemos quien nos la cuida.este preso de la LEUSEMIA es muy duro . Es algo q se toma conciencia de la gravedad de esta enfermedad. Es algo muy duro ver como mi hijo sufre y soporta esas quimio q queman las venas y sobre todo las ganas de seguir luchando lo veo en otros niños pero lo q si le.eh enseñado a mi hijo es el más poderoso se llama Jesucristo. Pero es la más dura prueba q cualquier papa pueda vivirlo. Mi hijo por tener las plaquetas tan bajas no puede bajarse de la cama y se le.debe mero pañal comprar. Cremas para la cola y otras cosas mas q le.pide los doctores . Pero es una situación muy grave y dura. Ahi le envio unos videos y fotos.
