I’m raising funds for a close friend and teammate, who suffered a serious shoulder injury while playing football back in August. As a dedicated goalkeeper, the sport is a huge part of his life but more importantly, he works as an electrician, and this injury has significantly impacted his ability to do his job and earn a living.

After a recent MRI scan, he’s been advised to undergo a Bristow-Latarjet procedure, a specialist surgery that will stabilise his shoulder and give him the best chance of making a full recovery. Without it, he risks ongoing pain, repeated dislocations, and long-term limitations both professionally and personally.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover half the cost of this operation so he can get back to doing what he loves both on the football pitch and in his trade. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean a great deal and bring him one step closer to recovery.
