As many of you know my brother, Josh, sustained a traumatic fall on Halloween. Josh and Kevin were coming back from Tulsa when they were stopped due to an accident. After waiting an hour and seeing other people walking about, Josh needed to relieve himself. He decided to walk down the easement of the interstate to separate himself from others who were walking around. He fell into an open drainage pipe, that was not covered and had overgrown grass on top, dropping 20 ft onto his legs. Kevin came looking for him, finding him at the bottom of the pipe. He called emergency services who had to extract josh after 3 hours. He was then Medi-flight to OU Health.

He has since undergone 3 surgeries on his legs, has multiple facial fractures including bilateral orbits (bones around eyes), frontal sinus, a small brain bleed and a T11 fracture. They are monitoring the facial fractures and brain bleed which has been stable. The T11 fracture could possibly undergo a kyphoplasty (where they inject cement into the fracture). His right tibia has had a nail placed down inside with screws at the ankle after the external fixator was taken off. The left tibial plateau fracture was repaired with a plate and screws.

Josh will be non weight bearing to both of his legs for about 8 weeks. He will require intensive physical therapy, multiple specialty visits and scans. We were told that it will take Josh at least 1 full year to be recovered.

This unexpected accident has taken a huge toll on Josh's life as he was in the final stages of his PGA certification with only having to take the final exam to be finished.

Anything that you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and take a huge burden off Josh and Stephanie. This will help cover their mortgage, house bills, medical expenses, supplies, doctors visits, and physical therapy.

As we know, Josh is a very strong and vibrant person. He is willing to help anyone and everyone with his big smile. I ask that in his time of need we repay that 10 fold.
