Support Josh's Recovery from Heart Surgery amd medical bills
This is my brother, Joshua.
A devoted husband.
A loving father to three beautiful, young children.
A faithful follower of Christ.
And until just recently, the unshakable provider for his family.
Josh has always been strong and hardworking. The kind of man who once His work ethic has always been powered by love—love for his wife, Christa, and their babies. He’s never been one to complain or ask for help. He simply gives everything he has to make sure his family is okay.
But recently, everything changed.
This past month, their family lost over half their monthly income. While Christa just accepted a remote job that will allow her to continue homeschooling their children, it will be at least three months before she begins earning—due to the time it takes for out-of-state licensing and insurance credentialing to come through.
Then came the unimaginable.
On April 10th, Josh underwent emergency open-heart surgery after doctors discovered five severe blockages in his coronary arteries—including two in his widowmaker artery, a silent, ticking time bomb. We almost lost him.
By the grace of God, he survived.
Josh and Christa firmly believe that the unrelated health issues Josh experienced over the past year—while not heart-related—were what prompted doctors to keep digging. That persistence is what ultimately saved his life.
But now begins the hardest chapter.
Josh can’t work. He’ll be in recovery for at least a month, likely longer. Medical bills are already mounting, with more on the way—totaling tens of thousands of dollars, even with insurance. Their mortgage, groceries, therapy, and daily essentials are all uncertain. And with three little ones depending on them, the fear is overwhelming.
I don’t have much myself. Life is hard for so many of us right now. But I had to do something.
So this is me, asking—humbly and from the heart.
If you have anything to spare—even a dollar—it will go directly toward:
Keeping food on the table
Paying off essential medical bills and supplies
Covering home expenses so they can focus on Josh’s rehabilitation
And if you can’t give financially, that’s okay. Sharing this, offering a prayer, or sending a kind word—it all matters.
We want Josh to focus on healing, not on fear.
We want him to feel the love he’s always given to others reflected back on him now.
Thank you—truly—for taking the time to read this.
I love my brother more than words can say.
Let’s help him feel that love now.
