Josh is a good friend of mine who recently experienced a life-changing accident. He was the pedestrian in a train versus pedestrian accident.

The news has been devastating for everyone who knows him, and it’s a stark reminder of how quickly life can change in an instant.

His injuries were severe and life-threatening. I will forever be grateful for the efforts of those amazing teams of first responders, nurses, and doctors who saved our friend's life.

His injuries required the amputation of his right arm at the shoulder, a multitude of surgeries, spinal cord injuries, and has left him paralyzed from the waist down.

He is confined to a powered wheelchair and the associated mobility constraints.

Josh’s independent and stubborn spirit has enabled him to recover at a remarkable pace. His positivity about the future in spite of the changes in his way of life should be an inspiration to us all.

Josh has a kind and generous spirit and has always been someone who has gone out of his way to help anyone who asks in any way he can. His selflessness is a quality that is unique these days.
