Support Josh's Recovery After Tragic Accident

On Friday, June 28th, 2024, Josh flew to San Antonio, Texas, to purchase a special motorcycle that could also function as a dirt bike—something he had recently developed a deep passion for. His plan was to ride his new bike to visit his brother, Zach, in Arizona. One of Josh’s favorite activities was riding his dirt bike to the top of a mountain to take in the breathtaking views.
Josh has been in such an amazing place in his life. He had been working at the Eagle Airport alongside private jets, always posting videos and photos, and boasting about how much he loved his life.
After picking up his new bike, Josh decided to take the scenic route through the Texas hill country. Around dusk, after testing out the dirt-bike feature, a deer ran out in front of his bike.
Josh, always diligent about safety, was wearing a helmet and full protective gear. Despite this, he was found unresponsive by a passerby and airlifted to University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, hours away from the accident scene.
Josh has suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, including a brain bleed, aneurysm, broken clavicle, broken ribs, and facial fractures. Part of his skull was removed during a craniotomy to relieve pressure caused by multiple brain bleeds. As of now, Josh has yet to wake up. He has been on a ventilator to assist his breathing but is now breathing on his own through a tracheostomy.
The cost of travel to Lubbock, Texas, is substantial, making it difficult for family and friends to visit. The expenses for hotels, meals, and rental cars are quickly adding up. Any contribution will help alleviate the financial burden on Josh’s family, allowing them to focus their energy on his recovery.
Since Josh is not a resident of Texas, Medicaid is not available for his short- or long-term care. When Josh wakes up, he will need to be transferred to Colorado, where he will likely require intensive therapy and rehabilitation to regain his ability to speak and perform other basic functions.
We do not yet have all the answers about what the future holds for Josh. We ask for your prayers and positive energy for his recovery.
Many people have asked how they can help. In addition to your prayers, any financial contribution to help Josh's family cover his care and their travel expenses means the world to us. Your support is greatly appreciated during this challenging time.
