Support Josh's Journey to a Fresh Start

Hi friends,

After more than a decade in Arizona, I’m making the move back home to the Pacific Northwest for a new job in Roseburg, Oregon — but I need some serious help to make it happen.

The last few years have been incredibly difficult. I had to walk away from the brewery I helped form due to overwhelming stress and lack of a sustainable income. My brewing software company is just getting off the ground, and while I believe in its future, it’s not generating enough to live on yet. In the meantime, I’ve been driving for Uber full-time to cover what I can, but I’ve fallen behind on bills.

I've also been dealing with an eviction case and have been fighting the landlord's predatory and unconscionable late fees. I'm winning the case so far (it's still being decided, though) and shouldn't have to pay the fees or have an eviction on my record, but I still plan on moving out at the end of this month.

I have less than two weeks left in my current home, no savings to secure a new place yet, and I’m trying to plan a move with my cat while in full-on emergency mode. I’m reaching out because I need help covering a few key costs to safely get back on my feet:

Phone bill (3 months) – $135 (so I can keep working Uber and stay in contact with my new job)

Storage unit – $200

Gas for the move – $250

Temporary lodging – Motel or rental while I get settled in the PNW

Thankfully, my car payment is covered for the next month, and I already have a job lined up at Backside Brewing Company as their new Head Brewer - I just need help getting there and staying afloat long enough to land on my feet.

I hate having to ask for help like this, but at this point, I don’t have many other options. If you’re able to contribute or even just share this campaign, it would mean the world to me. Every bit helps.
