Help Josh Fight Angiosarcoma: Support His Battle please
❤️⚡️❤️
Hey there friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We're writing this not for sympathy but to raise awareness and ask for support for my best friend, Josh. I've known Josh since we were 12, and ever since then, I've known he’s a fighter. He helped introduce me to the Grateful Dead and we've spent countless hours listening and going to shows together, but now he’s facing the toughest battle of his life, and he needs us now more than ever, and we make sure that Help's on the Way! Through all of this Josh has kept a great spirit and is always quick with a joke and we live by the mantra of , If you get confused, just listen to the music play!!!

This past fall, Josh began experiencing severe back pain. Like many of us would, he brushed it off as something minor and muscled through his day-to-day. By November, the pain had become unbearable, and after several MRIs and hospital visits, the devastating diagnosis came: Angiosarcoma of the bone, a rare and aggressive cancer.

Josh’s journey since then has been nothing short of harrowing. In December, he was admitted to Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. During his stay, he fractured his femur and spent 12 days in traction, followed by two major surgeries within a week. To celebrate 2025, he was discharged on January 1st and is now preparing to start an intense treatment plan.

Through it all, Josh has shown incredible strength, supported by his loving partner, Sally, and his wonderful kids, who are his light in the darkest moments. His extended family and friends have rallied around him, but the reality is that cancer doesn’t just take a toll on the body and mind—it's wreaking havoc on finances. Josh has been unable to work his job and is facing mounting medical bills, travel expenses for treatment, and the everyday costs of living while being unable to work.

Josh has really enjoyed and has been passionate about his work as the General Manager of DonutNV and Frios in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he thrived in creating joy and connections through his role and his love of the local Delaware Food Truck Community. He developed an incredible friendship with Brad, the owner, and was proud to be part of a local business that brings smiles to so many faces. Josh’s love for his job and his team was unmatched, and while he can’t be there right now, his determination to fight and recover is fueled by his desire to return to what he loves most.

Josh would never ask for help himself, so we're doing it for him. We want to ensure that he can focus 100% on his recovery without the added burden of financial stress.

How can you help?
• Donate what you can—every dollar makes a difference.
• Share this campaign with your network to help spread the word.
• Keep Josh, Sally, and their family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this journey.

Josh’s story is also a reminder to all of us: Listen to your body. If something feels off, don’t wait to get it checked. Early intervention can save lives.

Josh is in the hands of amazing providers at Jefferson and beyond, but he can’t do this alone. Let’s rally together to support him in this fight.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read this, share, and support Josh in any way you can.

With gratitude,
Pete and Brad
