Josh and I have been close friends for many years. Our families are deeply connected, sharing countless memories, and everyday life together. Josh is the kind of person who shows up; an incredible friend, a devoted husband, a loving father of three, and a gifted entrepreneur and engineer. Many may also remember him as the former Cosmo mascot at BYU, spreading energy, joy, and laughter wherever he went. That same joy and positivity define who he is at his core.
Recently, Josh received devastating news: he has been diagnosed with a glioma, an aggressive, cancerous brain tumor. As he prepares to begin treatment, his family is facing an overwhelming financial burden. Medical bills are quickly piling up, and with Josh needing to significantly reduce his work hours, even covering basic living expenses, like their mortgage and daily needs, has become uncertain. As if this weren’t enough, Josh and his wife are also preparing for another major challenge: their youngest son, Ozzy, will need a heart procedure later this year. No family should have to face so much at once.
I’m sharing this fundraiser because I believe in the goodness of people and the power of community. This is an opportunity to rally around a family who has given so much to others and now needs support themselves. Your donation, no matter the amount, will help relieve financial stress so Josh and his family can focus on what truly matters: healing, hope, and being together. Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your kindness. Together, we can remind this family that they are not alone.
