In early April, an aggressive tumor was found in my pelvis/ilium after a scheduled MRI. On April 15, 2026, I was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of the bone. Since then, I've started treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ, with Dr. Stanek and the hematology oncology team. Scans, biopsies, and labs are ongoing, and chemotherapy and radiation will begin by the end of May.
This diagnosis has changed everything for my family and me. The journey ahead includes frequent hospital visits, ongoing tests, and the challenges of balancing treatment with caring for our three children. The funds raised here will help cover my medical expenses, including my in-network out-of-pocket max, out-of-network costs, as well as meals for our kids when Jenni is with me at the hospital. They will also help with transportation costs for our children to get to their activities while we adjust to this new normal.
