We are raising funds to improve the life of our family member, Josh Boyd, who tragically suffered a severe spinal cord injury in 2017. Josh became paralyzed from the chest down as a result of a fall off a ladder while working for his self-owned business. After weeks in the hospital and a rehab center Josh was able to return to his home and in time live independently with modifications. Josh is able to drive a modified vehicle which enables him to get to his ongoing medical appointments and remain an active role in his 9-year-old son’s life. It was recently determined that Josh’s Van is permanently out of service. Without a vehicle to get to medical appointments and support his son, Josh’s health and independence will be greatly compromised. Josh is in need of a van that can accommodate his wheelchair and be modified for hand controls. We are requesting donations to assist with a purchase of a gently used van.
