Hi, I’m Josh Spain. Most of you know my story, but for those who don’t, here it is. On Nov 10, 2015, I had a bad work accident that left me permanently disabled. For the most part, we’ve been getting by, but recently, I’ve been diagnosed with a brain tumor that is unreachable because of its location (center of my brain). The last year, it’s been giving me migraines and blurred vision on top of my already disabled body.

My wife works part-time (because she has to take care of me as well), and my farming side job has fallen short due to me being bedridden the majority of the time. This is something I should have done a long time ago, but I’m stubborn and hate asking for help. Now, I just don’t see a way out. I’m $2000 behind on bills, and I feel if I can just get caught up, we’ll be able to keep it going forward. I’ve already sold all my things that are valuable in order to get through the winter and now I don’t know what else to do..

My work accident left me with only 1/3 of my digestive system, and because of that and the fact I can’t afford supplements, I’m weak and malnourished. On top of the brain issues, it makes it extremely challenging for me to just do daily chores. Those that know me know that I’ll keep fighting and pushing myself through this, but easing the financial burden would be a huge stress taken away from me. I appreciate you all, and God bless.
