My name is Brooks Rash. I am Josh Rash's younger brother. Yesterday around 2:00 a.m., Josh was in an extremely bad accident in a semi. Another truck was crossways in the road in front of him. He had less than 150 ft to try to get stopped as that vehicle was sliding at him. He ended up t-boning it behind the passenger side door. That truck split in half, and the cab came rolling up onto his when the accident ended. Josh was trapped in his truck and could not get out. They had to cut the passenger side door off his truck to get him out He had a serious injury to his left knee and leg area. A fellow bull hauler was following and came up behind the accident right after it happened, got stopped, and was able to get to Josh's assistance. Josh's truck is totaled but my brother is still alive
Those of you that know my brother know that he doesn't ask for help from anyone, but he's always willing to give a hand to anyone that needs it at any moment in time without hesitation. He was the sole source of income for their family. Even once his leg gets better after all the surgeries, he still has to find a new truck. Trucking is what he does. It's what he loves, and it's what he's going to continue to do.
Thank you,
The Rash family
