Support Josh Prior's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On Sunday, February 16th, Dr. Joshua Prior was involved in an accident at home that resulted in a broken back, left shoulder, and several broken ribs. He was immediately transported to Upstate in Syracuse, where he underwent surgery to repair his back, with two metal rods placed on either side of his spine.
The injuries have left Josh unable to walk, with no feeling below his sternum. He receives occupational and physical therapy daily and is making steady progress. We are hopeful that with each passing day, he will continue to make strides toward recovery.
Josh has a strong support network surrounding him, including his wife Mary, who is by his side daily, as well as his parents, sister, brother, extended family and friends. He is also a devoted father to his three sons, Joshua Jr. (6), Thomas (3), and Jonathan (1), who have been supporting their Dad from home with calls, videos, pictures, and drawings.
As Josh prepares to transition home, he will need continued support to help navigate his new normal. This includes various accommodations to make his recovery at home more comfortable and accessible.
Josh, a chiropractor and business owner, is currently unable to work and was the sole income provider for his family. With three young children at home and mounting medical expenses, we are reaching out to ask for support for the Prior family during this difficult time.
Josh would do anything for anyone—he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. His door is always open, and his greatest joy is spending time with his family. Josh deserves nothing but the best as he recovers, and we are grateful for any support you can provide.
Please help support Josh and his family by making a donation to assist with his recovery.
