Dear Friends and Family,

This is the Galloway and Hooper families. On Saturday, August 23, our precious Ember Rain, Josh’s beautiful 6-year-old daughter, who was so excited to start first grade, was tragically taken from us in an accident in Oregon.

Ember lived and loved with her whole heart. She carried joy like a lantern, lighting every corner of our lives with her laughter, her sparkle, and her sense of wonder. In her six short years, she taught us all how to love boldly, live fully, and find delight in the simplest of moments.

So many of you have reached out asking how you can help during this season of unimaginable loss. Josh’s dream is to build a memorial for Ember on our family farm in North Carolina, The Wilde Farm, a place she loved. In the days, weeks, and months ahead, Josh will also face many unexpected expenses.
