SUPPORT JOSH CANDY IN HIS RECOVERY AFTER LAPU LAPU TRAGEDY
Donation protected
Josh has been a beloved and inspiring member of our dance community for many years. His passion, humility, humor, and kindness have made him not just an incredible teacher and performer, but also an irreplaceable role model for students and colleagues alike. Anyone who has crossed paths with Josh knows the positive impact he has had, both on and off the dance floor.
Recently, while attending the Filipino Lapu Lapu Festival (which he acted as assistant director and choreographed performances for) was struck by a car and sustained serious injuries that required surgery.
While his spirit remains strong, the journey ahead will involve extensive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and time away from doing what he loves most — teaching, dancing, and inspiring others. With a career as a dance teacher, professional dancer and choreographer we can all understand the impact that this will have on Josh's life. He is currently hospitalized until further notice.
We are coming together as a community to support Josh and Paul during this difficult time. Funds raised will help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and ease the financial burden while he focuses on healing.
A little bit about us so that you know your donations are safely making it to Josh:
We are "Natalie and Krystal" the co-owners and directors of Thrive Dance Studio in Langley where Josh teaches.
All donations from this campaign will be deposited directly into an account managed by Thrive Dance Studio and will be used solely to support Josh’s medical expenses, rehabilitation, and living costs during his recovery. We are committed to full transparency and will ensure every dollar goes toward helping Josh heal and return to doing what he loves.
This amazing guy has given so much to all of us through his talent, warmth, and selflessness. Now it’s our turn to show him how much he means to us. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference — and your messages of support mean the world.
Thank you for standing with Josh and his family. Let’s help lift him up, just as he has lifted so many of us.
