Hello everyone! My name is Ashley Hunt and I’m raising funds for my friends Josh Peel and Lyn Le, and their children Kaylian and Charlie. On October 15 of 2025, Lyn lost her mom and spent considerable funds traveling to California to care for her and lay her to rest. Only 5 days later on October 20, 2025 Josh was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, an aggressive form of cancer located at the junction of the stomach and esophagus. Josh’s cancer was labeled stage 4 in January, when in preparation for a total gastrectomy, the surgeon discovered an enlarged lymph node that was determined to also be malignant. The gastrectomy was cancelled, and a new, more lengthy treatment plan then needed to be established. Lyn is a self employed licensed massage therapist, and with Josh unable to work on top of their already depleted finances, we as their friends want to help them in their time of need. We are hoping to raise 10,000 to help with the cost of Josh’s medical needs, including continued radiation, chemotherapy, the insertion of a feeding tube, and potential future surgery.
