Worst update of all. Josh took his last breath on earth on Wednesday (10/16) morning. The valiant fight against colon cancer is done but April and Mav now begin a different fight. The fight to learn how to live without Josh physically here with them.

October 2024. It’s the update everyone wished would never actually come but it’s now time to rally around the Mazur’s again and lighten the financial load. After almost 5 years of fighting the cancer, the incredibly hard decision was made to fight for Josh’s comfort with the support of hospice. No one knows what the days ahead will entail but we know the bills keep coming and medical expenses continue to add up. Please consider donating to allow April the freedom to be off work as long as she needs to tend to Josh and help Mav’s world stay as safe and secure as possible. The goal amount has been increased so we can add to what was previously donated to this well deserving family. March of 2020, Josh and April Mazur received the news no one wants to receive. Josh was diagnosed with colon cancer. Only 2 months after bringing home their first son, Maverick, they began the fight. 3 years later the fight is still ongoing. Through multiple surgeries, ER visits, unexpected hospitalizations, countless trips to and from Plano, PET scans, chemo treatments, and ultimately the loss of Josh's job, those closest to the Mazurs' would say that they faced each obstacle with humor and grit.
