I’m Josh, a 35-year-old husband, father of three, software engineer, and entrepreneur. Until this year, I was healthy. Last winter, I started having headaches that would not go away. I assumed it was stress, overwork, and too many energy drinks, but my wife felt strongly that we needed to keep looking for answers. After initial tests came back clear, she pushed for a CT scan, and that scan found a lime-sized tumor in the back right side of my brain. I had emergency surgery that same day, February 13, and the tumor was removed. I recovered quickly with minimal side effects, which felt like a tremendous blessing. Then we got the biopsy results: grade 4 glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer.

Since then, I have completed radiation, I am continuing high-dose chemotherapy, and I am participating in a clinical trial in New York that we believe may help extend my life. Glioblastoma is considered incurable, but I am determined to do everything I can to fight for more time with my wife and kids. To focus on healing and protect time with my family, I went on long-term disability, which has been a blessing but also limits what I can provide financially. Donations will help us pursue promising therapies beyond conventional treatment, support my family through this uncertain season, and give us flexibility as we navigate what lies ahead. This fundraiser is simply a way for those who have asked how they can help to do so, if they feel moved to give. We are deeply grateful for every contribution, prayer, and act of service. Your support gives us hope, strength, and encouragement as we face this journey together.
