This GOFUNDME is to support our friends Josh and Emily Nolt. Josh and Emily have been married for a year and are two of our youth leaders at our Highpoint Community Church.
Recently, Josh was admitted to the hospital because he was suffering from swollen legs and he was extremely fatigued. After tests were conducted, it was discovered that Josh’s heart was failing and was only working at 5% capacity.
Josh was hooked up to an ECMO machine that would pump the oxygen through his body in hopes that it would allow his heart and other organs to recover. During that time, Josh had also been heavily sedated to help keep him calm.
After monitoring Josh’s condition, he was transferred to Penn Medicine in Philadelphia by helicopter where they have started the evaluation for a heart transplant.
Josh’s wife Emily and family have been by his bedside and we are praying for a miraculous healing or that his transplant comes quickly. Either way, his road to recovery is full of uncertainty - except for one thing - God is faithful and able to move in their situation!
We would love to be able to bless them with some peace of mind by raising funds and prayers for Josh and Emily. The last thing they need to worry about right now is whether or not they will be able to cover their current bills or the looming medical bills ahead.
Whether it’s through fervent prayer or funds, anything you can do to support this sweet couple would be a huge blessing!
*All funds will be deposited to Highpoint Community Church who will then bless Josh and Emily with a single check by Doug Groff, The Finance Admin. *
