Hi everyone,
I have created this gofundme to help a dear friend in need. Please see his story below. All donations go directly to Jose to help with medical bills following a long and ongoing journey against a company that refuses to make right on what they have put him through. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Jose's words:
I’m sharing something deeply personal today because I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help. My name is Jose Angel Olalde, and I’m struggling to recover from a devastating experience that has left me mentally and physically broken.
During my time working at a previous employer, I faced racial discrimination, unfair treatment, and a complete lack of communication from management. Despite my dedication and hard work, I was denied the training and support I needed to succeed, while others—particularly those with personal connections to leadership—were given preferential treatment. I was overlooked for opportunities, ignored when I raised concerns, and made to feel like my voice didn’t matter.
The constant stress and frustration from this environment eventually led to a mental breakdown. I couldn’t get out of bed, struggled with severe sleep issues, and developed other health problems directly tied to the trauma I experienced. Even now, I’m still dealing with the aftermath. My mental health is in shambles, and I desperately need to see a doctor and a therapist to begin healing.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a job right now, and I can’t afford the medical care I need. My mind is so overwhelmed that I don’t know when things will get better. I’m sharing this because I’m at a point where I can’t do this alone.
If anyone is able to help—whether it’s with medical bills, therapy costs, or even just sharing this post—it would mean the world to me. Anything, no matter how small, would be one less burden to carry as I try to rebuild my life and recover from this ordeal.
I’m not one to ask for help lightly, but I’ve reached a point where I have no other options. I’m hoping that by sharing my story, I can find some support and compassion during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you so much for reading this and for any help you can offer. It means more than I can express.
With gratitude,
Jose Angel Olalde
