Edison Apolo has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and urgently needs to begin chemotherapy treatments and undergo surgery to remove the tumor. As a family, we are doing everything we can to cover the expenses, but unfortunately, the medical costs are beyond our means. This situation is even more difficult due to his status as an immigrant. His family and himself currently do not have OHIP which is why we are reaching out for help to help cover medical costs and expenses.

Five years ago, his daughter was diagnosed with Non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis which is a type of Cancer. At that difficult time, he was forced to migrate to this country to access the treatment she needed and take on all the related expenses. Thankfully, she responded well, recovered, and is currently doing well, undergoing her annual medical check-ups. However, the debts incurred during that process are still outstanding and remain a significant financial burden to the family.

Just a month ago, he suffered a serious health setback, and after several tests, he received this devastating diagnosis- Gastric Stomach cancer, which has deeply affected our entire family.

The estimated amount we need to raise is $100,000. That’s why we’re turning to you for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be a great help in raising the necessary funds for his treatment, which includes chemotherapy, specialized tests, medications, and the much-needed surgery.

Edison Apolo ha sido diagnosticado con cáncer de estómago, y necesita iniciar con urgencia tratamientos de quimioterapia y una cirugía para extraer su tumor. Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible por cubrir los gastos, pero lamentablemente los costos médicos superan nuestras posibilidades. Esta situación se vuelve aún más difícil debido a su condición de migrante. Su familia y él actualmente no cuentan con OHIP, por lo que estamos buscando ayuda para cubrir los costos y gastos médicos.

Gracias a Dios, ella respondió favorablemente, logró recuperarse y actualmente se encuentra bien, realizando sus controles médicos anuales.
