Hello, my name is Laisha Coronado. I’m a preschool teacher, and I absolutely love working with children. I come from a big family of 7, and family has always meant everything to me. Today, I’m asking for help for someone who means the world to me — my fiancé Jose.
Not long ago, Jose was detained by ICE. Since the day I met him, he has been one of the most caring, genuine, and loving people I’ve ever known. He has always treated me with kindness and respect, and he has been nothing but supportive throughout our relationship. He is also an amazing brother to his two younger sisters, who are 2 and 15 years old, and a loving son and best friend to the people around him.
Jose came to the United States when he was only 7 years old. He grew up here, graduated high school here, and went on to trade school where he became a certified CNC machinist. He has worked hard to build a future for himself and has been dedicated to his career ever since.
We have dreams of getting married, starting a family, and building a life together. I am a U.S. citizen, and all we want is the chance to continue our future here together. The funds raised will go toward hiring an immigration lawyer and helping with legal expenses so Jose has the opportunity to fight his case and remain with the people who love him most.
Anything helps, and every donation, share, and prayer means more than words can express. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and support us during one of the hardest times in our lives. God bless you all <3
