Hi, our names are Tajae and Jamie, managers at Empire Hyundai of New Rochelle. We are coming together to support our coworker and brother, Jose, during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time.

Jose’s father-in-law, Honrado Fred, a proud and hardworking Filipino husband, father, and grandfather, was called home to heaven on December 2nd after battling severe injuries he sustained while working hard to give his family the Christmas they deserved.

Even while in the hospital, Honrado stayed positive and continued cracking jokes to keep his family’s spirits up. He remained focused on his loved ones and his biggest wish was simply to provide, protect, and make sure his family could still enjoy the Christmas holiday they had been looking forward to.

Honrado leaves behind a loving wife and two hardworking daughters who live outside their home country, doing everything they can to support the family and put his grandchildren through school. He was only 65 years old.

He also has sons who strive to honor him and carry on his legacy. Russell the oldest son, who has placed his entire family on his shoulders has yet to leave the hospital has been taking on a heavy load for everyone.

Because of this sudden tragedy, Jose had to immediately fly to the Philippines, placing a heavy emotional and financial burden on him and his family. We want to help relieve that burden.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help Jose with:

-Emergency travel expenses

-Funeral and memorial costs

-Support for Honrado’s wife and family during this heartbreaking time

-Any additional unexpected expenses during their period of grief

Jose is one of the kindest, most hard-working people in our dealership family, and he has always shown up for others. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
