Support Jose Vinales’s Fight Against CIDP
My son, Jose Vinales, 36, was diagnosed with an auto immune disease called Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) in November 2024. Since then, his condition has worsened dramatically — from using a walker to being completely bedridden. Jose is unable to walk or feed himself, and is fully dependent on round-the-clock assistance. He cannot leave his second-floor apartment because it is not accessible.
Jose receives IVIG infusions at home every three weeks, but his Medicaid does not cover the at-home physical therapy he desperately needs to regain strength. I’ve been paying for private therapy with help from family and friends, but these funds have been depleted. We are also behind on rent and utilities, making this situation even more overwhelming.
This diagnosis has taken so much from us—our normalcy, and the vibrant person Jose once was. We don’t fully understand why this happened, but we are determined to find a way forward. Jose has fought bravely, but the disease has deeply affected him and changed his life. I am reaching out for your help so that Jose has a chance to reclaim his strength and independence. While we don’t know if he will ever be exactly who he was before, with your support, we can get closer to that goal
Please consider donating to help Jose on this difficult journey. Every contribution brings hope and healing.
We are urgently seeking support to address Jose’s housing, utilities/bills, basic living expenses and care needs to ensure his health and safety as Jose battles this devastating disease.
Every donation, big or small, will make a difference in his recovery journey.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can help Jose regain his strength and hope.
Donate today to make an impact.
