My name is Joseph, and I am just looking for a little help. I have been diagnosed with stage 3 Burkitts Lymphoma a type of blood cancer. My treatment is going well but I have at least a year before I can confidently say I will be able to go back to normal life. I work in blue collar trades so sadly I won’t be able to work for quite some time. Due to the nature of my job I don't get sick benefits like sick pay or FMLA. Thankfully I might be able to get disability but its still being worked out. I have a wonderful girlfriend who is helping me through this, as well as our three adorable cats. I know that times are tough for everyone, but if you can spare even a little, I would be more than thankful all the money I get will be going towards either paying for treatments, medication, or bills during this timeframe.
