Joseph is my younger brother, a 33-year-old dad, and someone who brings so much joy to our family. He’s funny, always knows how to make people laugh with his sense of humor, and is there to help if he can. He’s a wonderful uncle, brother, and son, and his positive spirit has touched so many people around him.
Recently, Joseph’s life changed in an instant. While crossing the street, he was struck by a car in a hit and run. The driver left him for dead in the middle of the road. Joseph is now in the ICU, unable to breathe on his own. He suffered a fractured temporal lobe, may be permanently deaf in one ear, and could lose his vision. The swelling in his brain is severe, and we are hoping and praying that he pulls through this with as little damage as possible.
The road ahead will be long and uncertain. Joseph has lost his job, phone, and housing because of this tragedy. The funds raised will go directly toward his medical bills, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and any memory care he may need. They will also help cover living expenses and bills while he is unable to work as an insurance agent. If the worst happens, and Joseph does not recover, the funds may also help with funeral expenses, as we do not know what the outcome will be yet. Our family is doing everything we can to support him, but we can’t do it alone. Please consider helping Joseph on his journey to recovery. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and allow us to focus on his healing. Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
