My family is starting this GoFundMe to support Joseph, a man my dad works with, and his family. In October, Joseph began working for my dad through a temp service. My dad drives him to and from work everyday because he doesn't have a car. I hope that you will read about his story and help my family raise some money for him and his family, as we are trying to help them in any way we can during this holiday season.

Earlier this year, Joseph was working two jobs to support his wife and their two daughters (ages 13 and 17). Suddenly, he became very sick and was diagnosed with heart failure. He was admitted to the hospital immediately and during his five month stay he underwent two major surgeries. During that time Joseph and his family were evicted from their home, lost their car, and both parents lost their jobs. Because they shared a car, his wife couldn't continue to go to work after it was repossessed. They are now living in a hotel in Pineville to keep their daughters in school. Joseph's wife has recently found a job but they are struggling to afford basic necessities, as they are starting over from nothing. They have reached out to multiple crisis centers but haven't received any help so far.

Our goal is simply to help them get through this difficult season and support them with basic needs as Christmas approaches. Any amount will make a difference as they work to rebuild their lives and family.
