Joseph was always passionate about fitness and working out, so it was a shock when he began to notice symptoms like shortness of breath. After undergoing multiple tests, doctors discovered a mass in his chest, and he was recently diagnosed with Large B Cell Lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Our family is now facing a journey we never expected. His chemotherapy begins on June 8, 2026, and the months ahead will be filled with countless doctor’s appointments, tests, and treatments. Even though Joseph has health insurance, the reality is that it won’t cover all the expenses. Medical bills are already starting to pile up, and the financial strain is growing. Joseph will also be missing work for his treatments and appointments, which means his income will be reduced due to missed hours.

Adding to the challenge, Joseph lives nearly 2,000 miles away from his family. We are taking turns flying to Texas to help him get to his chemotherapy appointments and support him through this difficult time. The cost of airfare continues to rise, making it even harder for us to be there for him when he needs us most.
