Hi my name is joseph and i am 68 years old . i have a health problem it is called Chronic Venous Insufficiency reflux .I have had this problem for years but as of 5 months ago getting worse as you can see i have a open wound that has not healed for 5 months and yes under Doctors care . i am on my 3rd skin graff .The doctor tried other ways to close the wound and let it heal on its own but that did not work so he applied a skin graf and the wound does show very little progress. once a week i go to the wound care center and they take off the dressing's and the doctor comes in and debrides it . Yes painful. Then they wrap me back up and i try to go about my day. i must change the wrap without disturbing the skin graf everyday . it is hard to work and is painful the blood flows down my legs and after a hour or so i can feel my legs throbbing .the blood flows down but does not flow back up like normal .the valves are weak and the blood pools and form a skin ulcer and when it breaks the surface of the skin you have no choice but to seek treatment .i never asked for donations before but i do not want to loose my house and keep up with my other bills . andy donations would be a blessing for me .
