For the last two years I've been making Mobiles, Stabiles, and sculptures from concrete. In the last year I have made some major cutbacks in my life, leaving the restaurant industry for good, and working towards a creative career. I have since sold two sculptures, had a series of my stabiles in an LA Arts District show, and just recently hung a large scale Mobile in the UC San Diego School of Engineering prototype lab EnVision. I am currently planning 2-3 series (10-20 pieces each) of works to present to galleries. My little studio apartment isn't cutting it anymore and I think my downstairs neighbor hates my guts. The monies I'm fundraising for will go to 3 months of a proper studio space where I will have 24hr access, secured/locked space, and the ability to use louder, more efficient tools.  I have been trying to get out of the hospitality industry for over 5yrs now and this has been my greatest effort.
