My brother, Joseph Smith, on Sunday, November 03, 2024, went to a river with his friends to swim. What should have been an enjoyable weekend turned out to be a tragic one when Joseph dived from a tree into the river and drowned. Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors worked around the clock to get his heart beating again, which took multiple attempts before they got a pulse. Joseph is now in the intensive care unit with a broken neck, carbon dioxide in his blood; he is in a coma and on life support. My family and I are trusting God that he will pull him through.
We are not in a position to afford the care needed because of limited resources, and we are seeking help from my friends and family. The hospital has been working very hard I'm to get the surgery done ASAp because it’s been over a month now and if the surgery is not performed is situation may become permanently .Your help will allow my family and me to seek better care for him at a facility fully equipped for his condition.
At this moment, the doctors aren’t sure what state he will be in when he awakens from the coma because they don’t know how long he was underwater and how long his brain lost oxygen. All help is appreciated.
