Help Support the Recovery of Joseph “Joey Rem” Rementeria
On July 29, 2025, our world changed forever.
Our father, Joseph Rementeria — known to many as Joey Rem, but to us simply Dad — suffered a series of 25 strokes.
In an instant, the life we knew disappeared; everything was shaken to its core.

A Difficult Journey
The months that followed have been some of the most painful we have ever faced.
We encountered countless complications — including his most recent stroke — emergency surgeries, and endless sleepless nights.
Even so, through tears, prayers, and moments of deep fear, we held on to hope.
Our faith became our refuge, reminding us that miracles do exist.
And little by little, we began to see them.

A Miracle: Back Home
On October 27, 2025, we received the blessing we had prayed for:
Dad was finally able to come home.
That day marked a new chapter — filled with emotion, relief, and gratitude.
But recovering from home is not easy.
⸻
Current Challenges
For Dad to continue healing, he needs:
• 24-hour care
• Home modifications for accessibility
• Specialized medical equipment
• Transportation to and from therapies
• innovated and intensive therapies not covered by insurance
All of this has placed a tremendous financial burden on his wife, especially now that work has had to pause in order to prioritize his care.

How You Can Help
To those who have known Joey — as a friend, coworker, or family —
you know he is so much more than a name.
His presence lit up every space.
His laughter lifted spirits.
His love, generosity, and selflessness always spoke louder than words.
Today, with humility and hope, we are asking for your help.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward his medical care —
care that will help him continue to fight, heal, and return to the man we love so deeply.
⸻
Thank You
From the bottom of our hearts,
thank you for taking the time to read our story.
We pray that as you read this, you can feel how much Joey means to us —
a devoted father, a loyal friend, and the most loving grandfather.
We will continue fighting by his side and are grateful for every prayer,
every word of encouragement, and every act of support along the way.
Thank you for not leaving us alone.
