I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share an exciting chapter of my life and to humbly request your support in making my dreams a reality.

My name is Joseph Kaycee Quao, and I have been passionately dedicated to education and child development for many years. From humble beginnings in babysitting to overseeing homework sessions in my neighborhood, and eventually securing internships at prestigious institutions like the British International School and the American International School in Ghana, my journey has been driven by a profound desire to positively impact the lives of children through education. As a result, I created, organized, and facilitated a literacy and numeracy intervention program for local

children ages 6 to 10 in my community. Through this program, I have been able to help students with pronunciation, master sight words, and strengthen their reading

comprehension. With Math, I have been able to diminish the learners' ( two dyscalculia students') anxiety and rekindle their interest in Math using different teaching strategies and positive reinforcement treats to engage them in Math class.

Now, as I stand on the cusp of pursuing my master's degree in Elementary Education at Calvin University in the United States, I am filled with excitement and determination. I chose Calvin University because of its renowned reputation for training effective teachers and its commitment to diversity and inclusivity on education. This program represents a crucial step in my journey towards becoming an inspiring educator who prioritizes both the social and intellectual well-being of my students. My utmost priority as an educator is to ensure the success of all children inclusively and to inspire them to become future leaders.

The United States is renowned for its exceptional training programs for educators, particularly in designing curricula tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners. By undertaking this program, I aspire to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to cater to every child's unique learning journey, fostering individual growth and development.

However, as an aspiring international student, I am faced with the daunting task of financing my education and securing the necessary funds for tuition, room, and board. The total amount required, $22,920, encompasses these essential expenses and will enable me to enroll in the Post-Bachelor Teacher Certification program for elementary education at Calvin University.
