My name is Shauna, I am the daughter of Joseph Prugar who is needing your help. My dad is 74 years old, served in the Air Force for four years and is a Vietnam Veteran. He has worked hard for over 50 years. He has always provided for his family. He has always helped others without question. Now I am reaching out to get my dad help. My Dad started his Journey in early January 2025. Where he was Diagnosed with an EMERGENCY Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. The Emergency Clinic then sent him to a cardiologist. He had his first appointment where they sent him for a scan, where they found two spots on his colon. So the emergency Aneurysm was now pushed back for an EMERGENCY colonoscopy. During the colonoscopy is where they found CANCER. In the same scan that they found the two spots on his colon, they also found a spot on his lungs that they were unsure of, so they sent him to have a Lung biopsy. The biopsy on his lung came back negative for cancer thankfully, but his lung did collapse during the procedure. The cardiologist then ordered a stress test to be done once his lung was able to heal. During the stress test, they saw abnormal signs, but told him his heart was great. The cardiologist went in and did a Cardiac Cath to determine the severity of the blockages. After they were done dads team decided it was safest to continue with the colon cancer surgery. They were finally able to do the colon double resection to remove the CANCER on August 29, 2025. Then on October 9, 2025 they had dad come in and were able to put in 3 stents. They had my dad return a week later on October 16, 2025 to put in another stent, but was not able to place the stent due to too much damage already done. They went in and scraped as much of the damage away that they could. The Cardiologist doctor wants him to return on Nov 6, 2025 to place the last stent. We still aren't sure when they will be doing the EMERGENCY Aneurysm surgery, but we do know that they will be doing the reversal sometime in January 2026. During all of this he has not been able to work, and does not have much coming in. It is costing dad more in medical bills than what is coming in. We would be so grateful for any donation you can make to help with life and medical bills. Thank you all so much, and God Bless you all. Feel free to share to get it out to more people. He can really use all the help he can get right now.
