Support Joseph Gephart's Fight Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Joseph Gephart. I am 37 years old. I have a fiancé and a 5-year-old daughter that I need to support. I need help with medical and financial bills while I'm out of work.

When I was 11 years old, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, which affects your large intestines. Fast forward to November 2024, I went to get routine blood work that came back abnormal. My doctor called me to send me straight to the emergency room. I found out my hemoglobin was extremely low. I got admitted where I received blood transfusions as well as 3 iron transfusions to try to get my levels back up. It was determined that I have iron deficiency anemia and I'm bleeding internally. I was scheduled for an endoscopy and a colonoscopy as well as 4 weeks of iron infusions.

On April 7th, 2025, I got the endoscopy and colonoscopy done and a tumor was found. They took biopsies that unfortunately came back positive. On April 10, 2025, I was officially diagnosed with invasive adenocarcinoma of the ascending colon. On July 24th, I'm scheduled to get a subtotal colectomy. I will be losing 2/3 of my large intestines. I'm also on another 5 weeks of iron infusions. I will be out of work for at least a month. I am the provider for my family, so I'm asking for help paying for the piling medical expenses and financial obligations. We appreciate any and all help. Thank you all and God bless.
