Joseph Bevineau is a devoted husband and father. His world was turned upside down when his beloved wife, Olivia, was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and malignant brain cancer. As she courageously battles her condition, Joseph has been doing everything he can to hold his family together—emotionally, physically, and financially. Anyone who knows Joseph and Olivia knows how dedicated Joseph is to Olivia and their girls. Anyone who knows Joseph knows he is the first person to offer help when someone is in need. Now Joseph and his family are the ones in need.
Due to overwhelming medical expenses and the need to downsize, Joseph recently made the difficult decision to move his family into a smaller, more affordable rental, hoping to ease the financial strain. Joseph packed their entire lives into a U-Haul truck, with the hope that this move would alleviate some of the strain on the family. But tragedy struck again: the U-Haul truck was stolen overnight—along with all their belongings.
Joseph and his family are now left with nothing but the clothes on their backs, the love they have for each other, and the support of those who know and love them. They are in urgent need of support to find stability as they navigate the difficulties of rebuilding their lives during this already challenging time.

The U-Haul truck was recovered, along with the driver who is presumably involved in its theft. The truck was empty except for the shattered remnants of a few vases. Miraculously, the only thing recovered, intact, is a plate depicting Our Lady of Lourdes. The plate was a purchase they made on a pilgrimage to the healing waters of Lourdes, France. Joseph has been working with the local police departments in hopes of some restitution. Although, restitution is not likely.

Joseph has also been fighting with the insurance companies for coverage of the stolen items. The estimated total losses exceeds $45,000. Joseph's insurance company will only cover $5,000 because the items were in a moving vehicle, not an apartment or home. The insurance purchased from U-Haul covers nothing. Thankfully, the Bevineau's church family raised $15,000 in the week following the theft. They were able to buy some essentials like beds, clothes, and household items. That leaves a $25,000 shortfall.

Please consider donating to the Bevineaus—no amount is too small. Your kindness can help this beautiful, resilient, and faith-filled family find hope and healing in the face of heartbreak.
