Joseph was diagnosed with cancer last September and has been fighting with everything he has. Last week, he rang the bell after finishing chemo—a huge milestone that brought hope to our whole family. However, his cancer is treatable, not curable, which means he will need ongoing care and lifelong monitoring. The journey has been exhausting, both physically and emotionally, but Joseph has faced every challenge with courage and determination.

Just as he reached the end of treatment, his company announced they were closing the Charlotte office and laid off the entire team. Joseph received no severance, and after months of battling cancer, he is now suddenly without income and facing mounting medical bills and basic living expenses on his own. The timing could not have been worse, and it has left him feeling overwhelmed as he tries to focus on his recovery.

Joseph has always been the person who shows up for others—whether it’s helping a friend move, volunteering in the community, or simply being there when someone needs a hand. Now he truly needs help.
