After dealing with some abdominal issues, Josefina went to the ER and came across terrible, unexpected news.

Our loving, dedicated, and strong mother was recently diagnosed with Peritoneal Mesothelioma cancer.

Due to her cancer being so advanced, she will be starting chemo treatment as soon as possible. Our mother will need to go through several cycles of chemo before we know if she is a candidate for surgery.

We are asking for help during these challenging times and have started this fundraiser to cover some expenses from her appointments and treatments. As always, our family greatly appreciates your thoughts, prayers and support of any form.

Después de lidiar con algunos problemas abdominales, Josefina fue a la sala de emergencias y se encontró con una noticia terrible e inesperada.

Nuestra madre cariñosa, dedicada y fuerte, fue diagnosticada recientemente con cáncer de mesothelioma peritoneal.

Debido a que su cáncer está tan avanzado, comenzará su tratamiento de quimioterapia lo antes posible. Nuestra madre tendrá que pasar por varios ciclos de quimioterapia antes de saber si es candidata a la cirugía.
