Jose Vega is my closest friend who is now facing an unimaginable loss. On Saturday, January 24th, his beloved wife and soulmate of 36 years, Catina Lorenzo Vega, passed away unexpectedly at their home at the young age of 53. The suddenness of Catina’s passing has left Jose and their two daughters in deep shock and grief. After so many years together, it is hard to comprehend the pain and uncertainty they are experiencing as they try to hold things together.

Jose is now navigating the difficult task of planning a funeral and supporting his daughters through this heartbreaking time. The financial burden of unexpected funeral expenses, along with the costs that will follow, can be overwhelming for any family.
