Hi, my name is Melissa Tellez.

Unfortunately my uncle Jose Refugio Solis was detained by ICE yesterday October 31st,2025 in Little Village, IL on his way to his job site. He’s a dad of three young men and grandpa of 3 beautiful little girls. He has no criminal record and he is very well known as a hardworking, good and loving man. Our family is devastated with the situation we are currently in, trying to contact lawyers and living the reality of my uncle having to start his life all over again in Mexico. My cousins are now left struggling with the legal fees. I am organizing this go fund on behalf of my aunt and cousins. Any contribution whether it’s big or small will make a difference. Lamentablemente, mi tío José Refugio Solís fue detenido por ICE ayer, 31 de octubre de 2025, en Little Village, Illinois, cuando se dirigía a su trabajo. Es padre de tres jóvenes y abuelo de tres hermosas niñas. No tiene antecedentes penales y es muy conocido por ser un hombre trabajador, bueno y cariñoso. Nuestra familia está devastada por la situación, tratando de contactar abogados y afrontando la realidad de que mi tío tenga que empezar desde cero en México. Mis primos ahora se enfrentan a grandes dificultades para los gastos legales. Estoy organizando esta campaña de recaudación de fondos en nombre de mi tía y mis primos.
