This is my grandfather, José Razo, the most stubborn, hardheaded, never-take-no-for-an-answer type of man. However, he helped so many people throughout his life.
In the early 2000s, he helped hundreds of families cross safely to seek a better life in the United States. As controversial as his actions may sound to certain people, I just want to emphasize how selfless he was, putting his own citizenship and record on the line to always help others.
Later on, he lived a humble life on a ranch in Michoacán, Mexico. When children would stumble upon his ranch, he would always let them take produce for free. He loved the plot of land he owned, and he always helped others by providing work for them. Due to his great work ethic, he was well known in his small town, and he was always striking up a silly deal with someone.
With great sorrow, on August 4th, my grandfather suddenly passed away, and his loss has had an immense impact on his entire family.
Unfortunately, my mother and her siblings are struggling to afford the fees for his funeral this weekend in Michoacán, Mexico. I want to do my best to help them in any way possible to alleviate their financial stress.
So, I’m here today to say the Razo Family would be incredibly grateful and appreciative for any help or donations during this difficult time. We would also be very appreciative for any prayers. Thank you so much, and God bless.
