On September 9th, 2024, Jose Prieto was taken to the ER with discomforting pain. After weeks of treatment and tests, he was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He is a loving, father, grandfather, son, and brother who loves his family deeply and is the life of the party.

On behalf of his wife Melanea, any contribution is greatly appreciated no matter how small. Medical bills and medicine are expensive and we would like to give him one less worry on this hard road to his fight and recovery.
