My name is Shawanna De Los Santos. Respectively, I am Jose’s Wife.

Jose was recently abducted by border patrol in our hometown of Wiscasset, while leaving to go run errands for the household. He got pulled over 1 mile from our home, about 5 cars and people even came out of the woods.

Jose is a son, husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, cousin and has a very strong community here. You can tell from day one of meeting him he was raised very well. He has great morals and values. He is a person that will help anyone at any time. He is gentle, kindhearted, an exceptionally hard worker, attentive, understanding, loving, caring and is a family man. I could go on and on but let me just say,” he is a person rare to have in your life and if you're lucky enough to cross his path you both will be blessed.”

I, his whole family in his country, his great community and family here in the mid coast area all want to have him home in Maine with myself, His Wife. We applied for his immigration US citizenship 7 Months ago and currently have an active and positive case with uscis.

We are faced with lots of attorney fees and other various unexpected expenses due to his abduction. I am kindly asking for your help in bringing my husband home. He does not deserve this unlawful incarceration he has had to endure. We want him home!

I appreciate your contribution to my cause. Also please pray for this country, us and all the horrible attacks that are happening to our fellow humans on this earth, ALL OF THEM. I am praying for everyone affected, directly and indirectly. Until it hits home it's so hard to imagine the extent of pain that you're faced with. Let alone trying to hang on day by day mentally and continue your normal routine, working, making sure all bills are paid, your family is cared for, you have food in the house, and your heat is good and that bill is paid.
