Hola, mi nombre es José Manuel. Soy un jugador de bádminton de 19 años de México.

Durante los últimos años, el bádminton ha dejado de ser solo un deporte para mí — se ha convertido en un compromiso diario basado en disciplina, constancia y una visión de largo plazo para competir a nivel internacional.

Actualmente entreno y compito a nivel competitivo con el objetivo de desarrollar una carrera internacional, mientras continúo con mis estudios universitarios.

Compromiso Académico y Deportivo

Estudio Finanzas y Contaduría en la Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, donde obtuve una beca en reconocimiento a mi desempeño en bádminton.

Para mantener esta beca, debo cumplir con:

Promedio mínimo de 8.0

Representar a la universidad en competencias nacionales (Universiadas)

Participar activamente en iniciativas institucionales

Nivel Competitivo Actual

Al cierre de 2025, alcancé los siguientes rankings mundiales BWF:

#545 – Singles Varonil

#771 – Dobles Varonil

#775 – Dobles Mixtos

Uno de mis principales objetivos esta temporada es avanzar hacia el Top 400 en Singles, lo cual requiere competir de manera constante en torneos internacionales.

Por qué es importante esta campaña

Durante el último año, hemos realizado un esfuerzo importante para impulsar este proceso, incluyendo la participación en torneos internacionales como competencias en Cuba.

Estas experiencias confirmaron que el siguiente paso es continuar compitiendo fuera del ámbito nacional.

En 2026, tengo la oportunidad de participar en un Tour Internacional de Desarrollo, que incluye torneos clave para obtener puntos en el ranking mundial y seguir avanzando.

Competir internacionalmente no solo implica rendimiento deportivo — también representa experiencia, exposición y la oportunidad de medirme contra jugadores de todo el mundo.

Meta de recaudación

El costo total estimado de este tour es de aproximadamente $275,000 MXN.

Esta campaña tiene como objetivo recaudar $200,000 MXN como una parte fundamental de ese total.

Support José Manuel’s 2026 International Development Tour

Hi, my name is José Manuel. I’m a 19-year-old badminton player from Mexico.

Over the past several years, badminton has become more than just a sport for me — it is a daily commitment built on discipline, consistency, and a long-term vision to compete internationally.

I currently train and compete at a high level, with the goal of building an international career while continuing my university studies.

Academic & Athletic Commitment

I study Finance and Accounting at Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, where I was awarded a scholarship in recognition of my badminton performance.

Maintaining this scholarship requires:

A minimum GPA of 8.0

Representing the university in national competitions (Universiadas)

Active participation in institutional initiatives

Current Competitive Level

At the end of 2025, I achieved the following BWF world rankings:

#545 – Men’s Singles

#771 – Men’s Doubles

#775 – Mixed Doubles

One of my main objectives this season is to continue progressing toward the Top 400 in Men’s Singles, which requires consistent participation in international tournaments.

Why This Campaign Matters

Over the past year, we have already made a significant effort to support this journey, including competing in international tournaments such as events in Cuba.

These experiences confirmed that the next step is to continue competing beyond the national level.

In 2026, I have the opportunity to participate in an International Development Tour, which includes key tournaments needed to earn ranking points and continue progressing.

Competing internationally is not only about performance — it is about experience, exposure, and the opportunity to compete against players from around the world.

Funding Goal

The total estimated cost of this tour is approximately MXN $275,000.
